Posts Installation
L Shape Carports and Pergola as name suggested have posts on only one side of the structure. Standard 3.0m x 4.0m and 3.0m x 5.0m has 2 posts, 3.0m x 6.0m has 3 posts. Standard Posts 3.0m.
This can be installed in both ways:
On Concrete Installation
1: Install the Steel Base on the concrete with Dynabolts provided
2: Cut short the post as per the required height, max 2400mm
or
Buried in the ground installation
Fix the Posts with steel bases with provided bolts
then bury the posts in the ground with suitable concrete mixer. Let them dry to atleast 24 hours before starting the roof frame installation.
Posts Positions
Posts position in L Shape Carports and Pergolas are little flexible. You can move them littlebit if needed.
L Shape 3.0m x 4.0m: The gap between the posts should be minimum 3.0m and maximum 3.5m
2 posts
L Shape 3.0m x 5.0m: The gap should be between 3.2m to 3.6m.
2 Posts
L Shape 3.0m x 6.0m: The gap should be between 2.5m to 2.8m.
3 Posts
More than 5.0m long L Shape Carports requires more than 2 posts.
